Puerticitos vs. Bahia de Los Angeles

I'm looking to drive down to Baja with 6 friends for New Years. We want to camp on the beach, eat fish taco, etc. We are coming from Oakland, California, so we don't want our drive to be toooo long, but we also want to get away from spring-break type revelers. We want to get away from it all, not drink tequila 'till we pass out. We're trying to decide between Puerticitos and Bahia de Los Angles. We'd prefer the former because it's closer, but everything I read seems to says that BLA is the most beautiful place to go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
